VIOLENT ATTACKS – MUMBAI
Dear Friends,
In light of what happened in Mumbai over these days, which is highly disturbing, we Humanists declare once again our complete rejection of all forms of violence.

We make a further urgent call to individuals and organizations to pledge allegiance and support to nonviolence as the only way out of the violence that is provoking the contradictory state of the world today.

We reject violence as it is the basic problem of the present moment.

Violence is at the root of all conflicts, individual and social. There are no false exits from this violent situation that is engulfing so many parts of our planet. Violence is now a problem cutting across many sectors and regions of the world as a global and  generalized problem.

What needs to be done?

It is necessary to clarify oneself and to clarify others. It is necessary to take a stand, to commit oneself in a courageous way and define clearly one´s position regarding violence with respect to oneself and others. And finally, it is necessary to overcome the violence that we carry within us.

We urgently ask ourselves yet again, we ask you, we ask every individual and organisation, governments and the individuals making up the various sectors of society, to commit to the cause of nonviolence.

It is not this group or that group, the violence done to one is then done to another, there seems to be no end to the cycle of violence. However, if we choose not to go along with that violence, another world opens up. In that world there is freedom and peace.

Peace and Nonviolence is the only way forward.

Peace, Force and Joy,

Dear friends across India and the world,

We’re all feeling the shock of the awful attacks in Mumbai. All our hearts go out to the victims and their families.

The attacks were aimed at our people, our prosperity and our peace. But their top target was something else: our unity. If these attacks cause us to turn on each other in hatred and conflict, the terrorists will have won. They know that hatred and chaos feed on division. As radical extremists, their only hope of winning is by turning the rest of us against each other.

Let’s deny them that victory. We’re launching a message to extremists on all sides and all our political leaders, one that will soon be published in newspapers across India and Pakistan. The message is that these tactics have failed, that we’re more united than ever, united in our love and support to each other, determined to work together against terror and call on our leaders to do the same. If millions of people sign it, our message will be unmistakable, click below to sign it and please forward this email widely:

It’s time to speak out, let’s do it together.

Thanks

3D anaglyph Rajmachi

Here are some anaglyph photos of Rajmachi, a small trekking place near lonavalla with 2 forts at the base of rajmachi village.

Rajmachi can be hiked or treked from lonavalla between pune and mumbai. its almost 17km trek but worth a experience in monsoon with all over waterfalls and small river streams

3d anaglyph photos of adalaj stepwell

Here are some 3d anaglyph format photographs of Adalaj stepwell near ahmedabad. The step well was built by the king for the queen and for ground water conservation. The step well has very beautifull sculptures and is famous with students of architecture.

To reach adalaj step well you can take a autoricksha from ahmedabad in gujarat, its a half hour journey well worth the time.
